2013 event dates announced - 30, 31 August & 1st September

Rescue_VesselWelcome to the home of the Yeppoon Coast Guard Tight Lines Fishing Classic. The premier fishing and fund raising event held at Keppel Bay Marina at Rosslyn Bay in Central Queensland (Yeppoon) every year in August. Funds raised from the annual event are destined for the maintenance and purchase of new equipment and facilities for the local Coast Guard flotilla QF11. Your entry fee will be going towards a great cause and in fact may help to save someone's life through the selfless volunteer work of the Coast Guard. Your entry is needed!

It's important to know that there's no need to enter the actual fishing competition to be in the running for the fantastic random draw prizes.

Just buy yourself a ticket, be there when the draws are called, and you're in with a chance to win!

This year we are holding the event over Father's Day on the 1st September.   What a wonderful Father's Day present a ticket to the event would be!  Even better if Dad was the lucky winner of a major prize!

Please tell your friends about the event and spread the word far and wide. We want to make the Tight Lines Fishing Classic the premier event of its type on the August/September calendar!

  • During our Event and while at the site, please use the bins provided and labelled.  Food Waste/Recycle/Cans.
  • Don't drink and drive, look out for your friends, mates and family.  After all, we want you back next year.recycle
